Your complete guide to Armagh’s 2018 four-day Georgian Festival

Armagh’s four-day Georgian Festival 2018 is one of the biggest yet.

Packed full of events from Thursday, right through until Sunday, there’s plenty for you and all the family to enjoy.

The festival begins with the Rokeby Lecture at Armagh’s Robinson Library at 7.30pm on Thursday before it gets into full swing on the Friday.

There’s the Georgian Milford House Tours from 11am, with a spot of Afternoon Tea from 5pm, both at the Milford House Collection.

Then comes the Great Georgian Banquet at the Palace in Armagh from 7pm until midnight on the Friday. Get your tickets for that one here.

Then Saturday sees the Festival really spring into life as the city has thousands descend for the annual Georgian Day Festivities.

There are a host of activities right across the city throughout the day, including mock trials at Armagh Courthouse, as well as the Artisan Market and Hot Food Village, right across the city centre.

The evening culminates in the fantastic light show – the blue ribbon event of the day outside the Market Place Theatre.

And there’s plenty to feast upon on Sunday, starting with the Hidden Gems Georgian Tour, which departs from Armagh City Hotel 10am.

In the evening, there’s several walking tours, but for those of you of a certain disposition, there’s the Guided Ghost Walking Tours (note: not guided by a ghost). They can be caught from 6pm and 8pm.

There’s plenty more happening, so just check out the full guide below or visit www.visitarmagh.com/georgian
