Armagh Food and Cider Festival offer incredible six hour ‘Meet the Producers’ food tour

Make the most of the Armagh Food and Cider Festival with an incredible six hour experience sampling some of the most fantastic and flavoursome local produce that the county has to offer.

Meet the faces behind the brands, on a guided, luxury coach tour of the Borough.

Your journey starts with a visit to On The Hoof, near Hamiltonsbawn for morning coffee followed by a stop at Salt Kitchen, Banbridge for an Irish Tapas menu coupled with local ciders from Armagh Cider Company.

Having enjoyed Madden’s Mellow and Carson’s Crisp with your meal, guests will then drive to Armagh Cider Company at Ballinteggart farm. Here you will enjoy a welcome drink and tour through their various orchards where you will hear the story of the apples including the whole process of cider making from blossom to bottle. See first-hand how these apples are turned into their award winning craft ciders!

Enroute, a Blue Badge accredited local tour guide will be on hand to point out significant landmarks both rural and urban along the way, in addition to relating a range of topics on the local agri-food and drink industry.

The tour concludes back in Armagh City at Cup and Cone for a portion of Morelli’s famous ice-cream or a speciality coffee/hot drink and home baked tray bake.

Guests are extended an invite after the tour to enjoy the food markets in Market Street, Armagh until 5pm and then on to the Urban Orchard Market in the Shambles Yard until 9pm.

The coach tour departs from The Fusiliers at 9.45am on Saturday morning and is expected to arrive back in Armagh City at 3.30pm.
