PARKRUN is coming to Armagh so get registered!
A FREE weekly 5k run, walk or jog will be held each Saturday morning at 9.30am in the Palace Demesne Public Park, starting on October 12.
Participants can pre-register at www.parkrun.org.uk/armagh to obtain their unique bar code.
They can then bring this to the Parkrun each week, where participants will be timed.
Matt Shields, from Parkrun, said: “This is a perfect opportunity for all voluntary, community, social, physical activity and weight loss clubs to come along and enjoy the outdoor experience whilst improving their personal fitness levels. Parkrun will let you as an individual see and feel the benefits of exercising outdoors.
“Parkrun is open to everyone and is safe and easy to take part in. Events are self -sustained, whereever possible, and volunteers are always welcome to join in and help make the experience more worthwhile.”
