It happened shortly after 8pm on Saturday

Police are hunting a man armed with a knife who robbed a shop near Portadown.

The incident happened at around 9.25pm last night (Saturday).

The robber entered the family-owned Centra store at Dobbin Road.

After threatening staff with a knife, he demanded they opened the till and made off with around £200.

Police said the culprit was wearing a dark SuperDry hoody and grey tracksuit bottoms with white stripes on the sides.

He left the store on foot and it is believed he got into a blue Passat Estate vehicle that was being driven by another male.

None of the staff were injured, however they have been left badly shaken by their ordeal.
