A 26-year-old is to appear in court this morning (Wednesday) charged with attempted murder.
Police have confirmed that this charge is in relation to an incident which occurred in Newry on Monday.
He is due to appear at Newry Magistrates’ Court via videolink later this morning.
As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the PPS.
