A man has been arrested by detectives investigating dissident republican activity.
A PSNI spokesperson this morning (Thursday) confirmed that detectives from PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit investigating dissident republican activity have arrested a 45-year-old man.
He was detained in the Lurgan area on suspicion of theft, fraud and other offences related to the Charities Act.
He has been taken to Lurgan Police Station for questioning.
UPDATE: A 45 year old man, who was arrested earlier today in the Lurgan area on suspicion of theft, fraud and other offences related to the Charities Act, has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
