Money stolen and property ‘ransacked’ in Crossmaglen

Detectives are asking the public for their assistance following a burglary at a house in the Cullaville Road area of Crossmaglen.

The incident occurred on Friday, January 6 between 4.30pm and 10pm.

Detective Sergeant Stewart said “It was reported that a house in the Cullaville Road area was broken into sometime between 4:30pm and 10pm

”The property was ransacked with each room rummaged through and a sum of money was taken. There was also damage caused to a door.”

Anyone with information or CCTV footage and who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area are asked to contact detectives at Ardmore on 101 quoting reference number 1892 of 06/01/23.
