A man in his 50s has died following a house fire in Armagh city on Thursday afternoon.
The blaze broke out at a property in St Brigid’s Hill area at around 4pm yesterday.
Police say the man tragically passed away at the scene.
The cause of the blaze is not known yet and will be investigated by the PSNI, in liaison with the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.
In a statement, Inspector Quinn said that the cause of the fire has not yet been determined and will be subject to investigation, in liaison with the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.
Armagh I has approached NIFRS for comment.
