£50k stolen plant equipment recovered; 19-year-old arrested

Police in Armagh recovered £50,000 of plant equipment following a theft at a building site in Moy.
At 9.13pm on Sunday, 28 July, police in Dungannon received a report of a yellow JCB teleporter being driven through the fence of a building site at The Square, Moy.
Police attended and discovered that the JCB had been stolen. The vehicle was observed a short time later near Killycullion Industrial Estate.
Officers in Dungannon liaised with their colleagues in Armagh who received a report of a Teleporter being driven at a bus shelter on Ballymacnab Road at 11.30pm.
Officers attended and the Teleporter was subsequently located on Ballymacauley Road at 11.43pm.
During their enquiries police received information of a Peugeot 306 in the area.
This car was later stopped in Armagh and a 19 year old male was arrested for aggravated vehicle taking and other motoring offences.
He is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
