Rushfear Spooky Shenanigans and South Lake Fireworks

Spooktacular fireworks are set to return to Craigavon Lakes this autumn as Halloween descends once again.

Prepare for a monster mash of ghostly goings-on and fantastically frightening fun at our Halloween Extravaganza on Thursday 28th October.

The spooky spectacular gets underway at ‘Rushfear’ Shopping Centre with entertainment and themed activities from 4pm. The magical Halloween Family Carnival Parade will leave Rushmere Shopping Centre at 7.30 pm, giving all those creative kids, mums and dads an opportunity to dress up with a sparkler of a costume. Cross the beastly bridge and head to Spooky South Lake for a breathtaking firework display which will light up the night sky at 8pm.

A spectacular evening not to be missed!!

Stay safe – Covid-19 Guidelines

As organisers, it is our aim to provide a high quality Covid-19 secure event. Please take time to read the following Important Notice before you attend the event.

Before attending the event:

We would encourage you to take a Rapid COVID-19 test – known as Lateral Flow Device (LFD) tests, which are available free of Charge. For more details on the test and how to obtain them, see below.
Please note that this is a recommendation from the organisers and not a condition of entry. However, please do not attend the event if you feel unwell. In this case you must stay at home and seek further advice on your symptoms.

When you arrive at the event:

Please be aware that social distancing and other Covid-19 safety measures will be in operation.
Please follow the information and directional signage and obey any instructions or guidance given by staff and stewards, or over the PA system. This will help you get to where you need to be in the safest and most effective way.

During the event:

We would ask that visitors wear a face covering while present at the event especially in areas where maintaining 1 metre social distancing may not be possible. Please note that this is a recommendation from the organisers and not a requirement.

Toilets will be situated at South Lake Leisure Centre and Temporary Watersports Centre. Please wear face coverings and use the hand sanitisers provided.

Rapid COVID-19 tests can be obtained by ordering online for free delivery to your home. www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests

These normally arrive 24 hours after ordering.

There are also a limited number of packs available for collection in a number of locations across NI.

If anyone has symptoms of COVID-19, they should self-isolate and book a PCR test immediately. PCR tests are available at testing sites across Northern Ireland and can be booked at www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test.

You must not attend the event unless you receive a negative PCR test.
