Lurgan Park Walk and Big Bunny Hunt raises almost £200 for Marie Curie Nurses

Organisers now look ahead to annual Scarva Stroll and Duck Hunt

It may have been a little wet on Saturday, but a great time was had by all in Lurgan Park for the Walk in the Park and Big Bunny Hunt.

Just short of £200 was raised and will be used within the Craigavon area to help provide Marie Curie Nurses who offer care and support through a terminal illness.

The event was organised by the Craigavon Fundraising Group.

A spokesperon said: “We have some good news and can report that all the bunnies were found safe with around 40 children finding all six bunnies and reporting back their names to Bunny HQ and receiving a badge and sweet treat.

“Well done to all who took part. We really hope you had as good a time as we did!!

“Massive thank-you to the volunteers who come along today to help out and to all you who took part.

“We would also like to thank Sainsbury’s in Craigavon for supplying bottles of water and to Edel from Tesco in Lurgan for supplying plenty of fresh fruit. Please keep sharing and following our page.

“Next up is a return of the Scarva Stroll and Big Duck Hunt in June.”
