The show must go on!!!
Republic of Ireland will join Northern Ireland in the last 16 following an historic 1-0 victory over Italy in Lille tonight.
Martin O’Neill’s men qualify in third place and will play France in Lyon on Sunday at 2pm.
Northern Ireland will play Wales in Paris at 5pm on Saturday evening.
In fairness, we were writing Ireland’s obituary until that Robbie Brady header in the 85th minute. What a tournament for the country as a whole!!
And we’ll be seeing more of this on the way…
