Teenager taken to hospital following county Armagh crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a single vehicle road traffic on the M1 Westbound at The Birches early this morning, Tuesday 17 February.

It was reported that shortly before 6am a silver Volkswagen had left the road close to the Birches off slip.

An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

Constable Jason Lyttle is appealing for anyone who was travelling on the M1 this morning and who witnessed the collision to contact Roads Policing at Mahon Road Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
