‘Suspicious’ approach to teen girl in south Armagh village: Police investigating

Police are investigating what they have described as a “suspicious incident” in the vicinity of the community centre at Meigh last night (Thursday).

It was reported that at around 9pm,  a teenage girl was approached by two men in suspicious circumstances.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who noticed two men in the area at this time.

They are described as being in their early 20s, around 6ft tall of thin build and pale complexion, both wearing light coloured jeans, and one was wearing a blue hooded top, while the other was wearing a red hooded top.

Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who noticed a silver-coloured saloon-type car in the area around this time.

Police say they are investigating the circumstances of this incident and are appealing for witnesses.
