Serious Crime Branch make second arrest as part of dissident activity investigation

A second man has been arrested in Co Armagh by police investigating violent dissident republican terrorist activity.

Detective Inspector Andy Workman said said the 47-year-old had been arrested in the Lurgan area by Serious Crime Branch.

“He has been taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Musgrave Police Station for questioning,” he added.

A 35-year-old man was arrested in Armagh earlier today (Tuesday).
