Resident left shaken after burglary

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a burglary in Crossmaglen yesterday (Saturday).

Two men were involved in the incident at a property in the Newry Road area at around 3.15pm.

The pair are understood to have left with a sum of money.

An occupant was not injured but was left shaken by the incident.

The first male is described as being approximately 30 to 40 years old, 5′ 9″ tall, medium build and spoke with a Belfast accent. He was wearing a hat, grey sweatshirt and dark trousers.

The second male is described as being approximately 20 years old, 5′ 10″ tall, thin build and also spoke with a Belfast accent.

He was wearing a dark-hooded top and dark tracksuit bottoms.

Police are keen to speak with the occupants of a black Mercedes car that was in the area at this time.
