Work has begun on a new £2.2million housing development in Portadown.
The development on the Loughgall road will comprise of 35 new homes, with a mix of semi-detached and detached houses.
Main Contractor Hilmark Homes officially moved on site last Wednesday after plans were granted by Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council earlier last month.
The development will be known as ‘Loughvale Grange’ and should be similar to the adjoining Lacehill estate, built by the same company.
The site, in a predominantly residential area, consists of an undeveloped area of land.
The houses will be completed with a brown brick finish, with some smooth rendered properties.
