Police warning after increased reports of door-to-door sales

Increased reports of door-to-door sales people has prompted police in Armagh to urge the public to be cautious.

The PSNI says that householders and businesses should report people trying to sell goods to police.

A Pedlar’s Certificate is required for sales people to operate within the law.

The PSNI says people should try and obtain a number place if a vehicle is being used and all incidents should be reported, particularly if the sellers become aggressive.

Reports should be made to the police in Armagh using the non-emergency number 101.
