Police seize drugs in Lurgan with estimated street value of £5,500

E District’s Tactical Crime Team have seized drugs with an estimated street value of £5,500 in county Armagh.

Sergeant Victor McNeill said: “We conducted the search of a property on Cornakinnegar Road in Lurgan on Friday, 12 December.

“We recovered suspected cannabis and cocaine and also seized two cars.”

A 33-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday, 17 December for possession of Class A and B drugs, possession of Class A and B drugs with intent to supply, possession of criminal property and converting criminal property.

He was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
