There’s still time to nominate your person to be proud of. We all know someone deserves their moment in the spotlight? A neighbour who’s always willing to lend a helping hand, or a young person whose passion and commitment really shines through?
A volunteer who works to keep your neighbourhood clean and green, or a local business person that goes above and beyond? An individual within a community group that supports vulnerable people, or an arts project worker that lets peoples’ creativity shine?
We have had a fantastic response since the launch of Armagh I People Of The Year Awards but there’s still time to nominate and have the opportunity to say, ‘Thank you for making a difference’.
With five award categories we aim to find those individuals who through selfless acts have improve the lives of others. These are:

– Tourism & Hospitality Champion of the Year, Sponsored by McShane Packaging

Nominations closing date has now extended to give you more time to complete your entry. Completed nominations must reach us by Friday 5th February
Whilst a traditional awards ceremony will be lost this year to Covid-19, each winner will receive a one on a kind custom designed award hand crafted by a local artist following public voting due to take place from February 8 until February 27 when each winner will be announced on Friday, March 12, 2021.
