Fifteen more deaths from Covid-19 in Northern Ireland as total number of lives lost reaches 107

The number of coronavirus-related deaths in Northern Ireland now stands at 107 – up 15 from Friday.

And there have been 128 more confirmed cases.

These are the latest figures made available on Saturday by the Public Health Agency.

This is the biggest daily loss of life recorded to date.

There have now been a total of 11,765 confirmed cases in Northern Ireland..

Dr Gerry Waldron, Head of Health Protection at the Public Health Agency, again asked everyone to stay at home over the Easter break to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

“Staying at home saves lives,” he said.
