Jewellery and money stolen in burglary in Collone

A number of valuable items of jewellery and money were stolen during a burglary at a house in Collone, county Armagh.

Police in Armagh are appealing for witnesses or information the incident at a house in the Lenalea Road area.

Constable Lester said: “It was reported that sometime between 1pm and 6pm on Wednesday 14 September entry was gained to the premises and a number of items including jewellery and a sum of money were stolen.

“We are appealing for anyone with information about this incident to contact detectives at Armagh Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1112 of 14/09/16.

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
