Man in his thirties collapses and dies on county Armagh road

The body of a man in his thirties was discovered on a county Armagh road this morning.

It is understood the deseased – Anthony McEnoy – was walking to get a newspaper this morning when he’s believed to have collapsed.

Emergency services were called to the Antrim Road around 6.45am.

The road has since re-opened.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police attended the sudden death of a man, aged in his 30s, in the Antrim Road area of Lurgan on the morning of Saturday 3 September.

“A post mortem examination is to be scheduled to take place to establish the cause of death.

“There are no further details at this time.”
