Woman accused of damaging vehicle and house brickwork after alleged drink driving

A woman who allegedly damaged another vehicle and the brickwork of a house after drink driving has appeared in court.

The offences the 38-year-old is accused of are said to have occurred on January 21 on the Belfast Road, Lurgan.

Zoe Lynn Pearson, of Willow Avenue, Dunmurry, appeared charged with driving with excess alcohol, driving whilst disqualified, using a vehicle without insurance and aggravated vehicle taking causing damage at Craigavon Magistrates’ on Wednesday.

The defendant is accused of damaging another vehicle and brickwork to house during the incident.

Stood in the dock, Pearson confirmed that she under stood the charges against her.

A constable at court said she believed she could connect the defendant to the charges.

Defence counsel raised no questions with regards to the connection.

Prosecution stated that four weeks would be required as a request for further information had been made.

The case was adjourned to December 4 for a response to this request.
