Man charged after discovery of suspected cannabis worth £6,500 during house search

A 41-year-old man arrested by detectives from PSNI organised crime branch has been charged with a number of offences.

He is due to appear before Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on August 21.

He has been charged with possessing criminal property, possessing a class B controlled drug, possessing a class B controlled drug with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of a class B drug.

The charges follow searches in Lurgan and Banbridge yesterday (Saturday) where suspected cannabis with an estimated street value of £6500 was found.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
