Air Ambulance and Mourne Mountain Rescue presented with almost £3,000 as Amanda Quigg’s legacy lives on

Amanda Quigg donation Air Ambulance

The family of a Waringstown woman who passed away earlier this year have presented cheques to the Air Ambulance NI and Mourne Mountain Rescue in her memory.

Amanda Quigg, who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), in 1992 passed away on May 2.

Amanda, who worked as an estate agent for many years in Lurgan and Portadown, was a well-thought woman who raised thousands over the years for charity.

She was instrumental in raising funds for the Armagh Memorial Wall at St Mark’s.

And in a fitting tribute, her family – a family she adored and they her – presented separate donations of
£2,787.50 to Mourne Mountain Rescue and and Air Ambulance NI.

Parents, Ronnie and Elizabeth, together with their sons Rodney and Andrew and family handed over the cheques this week.

The Quigg family would like to express their deep gratitude to everyone who made a donation in lieu of flowers and
supported the family in any way, Amanda’s legacy will always be remembered.
