Lightning strikes twice as thieves try to steal oil burner

Police in Portadown are appealing for information following the attempted theft of an oil burner from Garvaghy  Road.
Around 3am on Wednesday, 7 May, an attempt was made to take an  oil burner from the rear of a house. A padlock was broken and a plastic cover  removed. The burner at this address has been stolen previously and has only recently been replaced.
Police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to  this incident to contact them in Portadown on the 101 non-emergency number,  quoting ref: 279070514.
