Gang of men join in attack on 73-year-old

Police in Portadown are appealing for information following an assault on a pensioner in the Woodhouse Street area of the Co Armagh town.
On Wednesday, February 19, at aound 5.30pm, a 73-year-old man approached a blue car and  opened the passenger door. The male driver was verbally abusive and the man walked away.
The driver then got out of the car and approached the man and an altercation took place between the two. Up to five other men arrived on the scene and proceeded to assault the pensioner, who sustained an injury to his face.
The male driver is described as being around 30 years old, 5ft  8in/9in tall, of medium build with a swarthy complexion and longish black hair,  gelled back.
Police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to this incident to contact them in Portadown on 0845 600 800, quoting ref:  891200214.
