Four seen acting suspiciously before theft from vehicle

Police received a report of a theft  from a vehicle in the Main Street area of Camlough on Friday, December 20.
At  around 2.50pm it was reported that the rear window of a parked car had been  smashed and a sum of money taken.
This incident followed a report of four men acting suspiciously in the area. They were driving in a green coloured Volvo 540  car with a southern registration and were wearing baseball caps.
A green volvo  540 car was also reported to have been in the area of Patrick Street in Newry  where a van was broken into whilst parked at a sports centre sometime between  12.20pm and 1.50pm. A phone and a small sum of money were taken.
Police would  ask anyone who noticed a green Volvo 540 car in the Newry and south Armagh areas  on Friday or who has any information to contact them in Newry on  0845 600 8000.
