Burglars made off with huge haul after Co Armagh pensioner’s home raided

Jewellery, cash, passports and electronic goods stolen

Police want help to catch those responsible after a Co Armagh pensioner’s home was burgled.

It happened sometime between 11am and 5pm on Monday.

The culprits broke into the house at Bluestone Road in Craigavon and made off with a large haul of items.

Among the items stolen were electronic goods, jewellery, cash and passports.

Police have hit out at those responsible and appealing for the public to come forward with information.

“If you see any items such as this discarded or for sale cheaply, please contact us immediately,” said a spokesperson for the PSNI in Craigavon.

“Undoubtedly the real damage here is in the aftermath for the victim, knowing someone has been in their house.

“These predators have no place in society so if you know anything or saw anything, please – help make this right by picking up the phone. Call us on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800555111.”

The incident number is 1012 of 07/05/18.
