A teenage boy was assaulted in Bessbrook by two men wearing hoodies.
It happened shortly after 10pm on Monday night, in Bessbrook.
He was cycling home from the shop, close to the junction of Millvale Road and JFK Park near the entrance to the community centre.
A black VW Jetta with tinted windows pulled up and two unknown males in black hoodies jumped out and assaulted him before taking off.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “The teenage boy does not know who assaulted him, didn’t see their faces and did not get the registration number of the vehicle.
“If anyone witnessed this incident, or has any information that may help us identify the males who carried out this disgusting attack please contact 101 and quote reference 1605 of 28/05/18.”
