New flower feature takes pride of place in Banbridge

A new flower feature has taken pride of place in Banbridge.

DUP Upper Bann MLA Carla Lockhart has welcomed the new addition at the junction of Ballymoney Hill and Dromore Road area of the town.

After being lobbied by residents the Upper Bann Westminster candidate made representation on their behalf and the flower bed feature is now in the process of completion.

Speaking on the project, Ms Lockhart, said: “I am delighted this lobby has been successful and the residents in the area will have this flower display brightening their area.

“As a political representative I get contacted by constituents on all manner of subjects.

“It is very rewarding to be able to deliver on this and I know locally they are very much looking forward to this being completed.”
