On Tuesday 13 January, St Patrick’s Cathedral Parish, Armagh will launch a Fundraising Draw in The Synod Hall, St Patrick’s Cathedral at 8pm.
The ten month draw will run from March to December of this year and large prizes are on offer each month.
From March to November there will be £2000 of prizes to be won each month and December will be the Bumper Month with First Prize being a Car, Second Prize £5,000, Third Prize £2,500 and Fourth and Fifth Prizes £1000 each.
Tickets will cost £100 (£10 per month) and there will be an early draw at the beginning of March for those who have paid in full by then.
Speaking recently, Fr Peter McAnenly, Administrator of the Parish said: “Due to works that have been done within our parish recently and in the light of other planned works in the near future, which includes planning for the purchase and development of a new parish cemetery, we must appeal to the generosity of parishioners once more for support.”
Fr Peter said: “This is a wonderful draw with very sizeable prizes on offer and I hope as many parishioners as possible will get behind this fundraising initiative and make a concerted effort to support the draw and in doing so, we will be helping to support the ongoing needs and development of our parish.
“I’m very conscious that the people of this parish have risen to so many challenges in the past and I have every confidence that I can count on peoples support again and with the goodwill and determination of the people of this parish, that we will achieve our goals.”
