A 27 year old man has been charged with two counts of assault on police, criminal damage, disorderly behaviour and resisting police.
The charges are in relation to an incident in which a police officer was assaulted at the Railway Street area of Armagh on Monday.
He is due to appear at Armagh Magistrates’ Court this morning (Tuesday).
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
