Lord Mayor Mealla Campbell warmly welcomed the business people of Armagh City Centre Management (CCM) group to the Palace last week.
Chairman Art O’Hagan spoke of what had been achieved by CCM over the past 15 years and highlighted the numerous strategies the proactive group are focused on for the short and long term benefit for all.
The large audience were given their opportunity to highlight their views with comments on the vision for the city centre.
Mr O’Hagan encouraged all businesses and community groups with a vested interested in the long-term future of our City to get involved setting shared goals and delivering them together.
Various topics were discussed to include congested traffic at peak times, grants to develop vacant buildings and commercial sites, cleanliness of the city, attracting sustainable employment through inward investment, rates, use of our built environment heritage, evening economy & the numerous events that occur within the City.
