A team of hearty runners from Linwoods Health Foods have raised almost £3,000 for the Southern Area Hospice thanks to their efforts in the Belfast City Marathon.
Staff at the Madden-headquartered company volunteered themselves to take part in the Belfast City Marathon on Sunday, May 1.
Team Linwoods took part in both the relay and walking events clocking up a combined effort of nearly 100 miles in aid of this fantastic local charity.
As a result of fundraising for this event Linwoods are delighted to be handing over £2,750 to Southern Area Hospice this week.
Patrick Woods, Managing Director of Linwoods said: “We have great team spirit here at Linwoods and I am very proud of our team’s efforts in completing the relay/walking events in Belfast City Marathon.
“Linwoods are delighted to be supporting the Hospice and donating vital funds to this fantastic service.”
