Construction equipment stolen from van while parked in Armagh or Omagh

Works van targeted overnight at Omagh or parked in Armagh the next day

A piece of construction equipment was stolen from a works van while it was parked in Armagh or at Seskinore, near Omagh.

The theft took place last month – sometime between Tuesday, August 21 and Wednesday, August 22 – but police have now issued an appeal for information.

It was reported that a piece of surveying equipment for use in construction was stolen from the van.

The Leica TS15 Total Station, serial number 1610919, in a red plastic case was removed from the van when it was parked in the Tullyvalley Road area of Seskinore sometime overnight on the Tuesday, or when it was parked in the Upper English Street area of Armagh the following (Wednesday) morning.

Police are appealing for anyone who has information to contact officers in Omagh on 101 quoting reference 210 22/08/18.

Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
