POLICE have appealed for public help after a man was subjected to what has been described as a “violent attack” in Lurgan at the weekend.
The man was set upon by two strangers at Edward Street at around 1.30am on Saturday.
The extent of his injuries are not known at this stage.
Today (Monday), police appealed for witnesses to come forward.
They are particularly keen to speak to two women who helped the victim while he was being attacked.
“We are seeking these two females to come forward and assist police with information to identify the two offenders,” said a PSNI spokesperson.
