Emergency services are at the scene of a serious road traffic collision on the A1.
Three vehicles have been involved and the road has been closed between Newry and Loughbrickland.
Diversions are in place.
Heavy goods vehicles heading south are being asked to use the Rathfriland Road, rather than smaller country roads, for their own safety.
There are no further details at this time.
